Willing to consider both NP’s as well as PA’s. We are only interested in trained candidates at this time. We have a smaller volume and don’t really have the case load that would give someone a good training experience. We currently have two physicians who practice CV, thoracic and vascular. The candidate would potentially see patients and assist in cases across all three disciplines.
Location is good for anyone who is a nature person. We have a great area for hiking, biking, camping etc. 2 -3 hours’ drive to Salt Lake City, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Yellowstone etc. Shopping options in Idaho Falls (40 minutes to the north) and Twin Falls (1 ½ hours to the west). Good schools, quiet neighborhoods and there is a university in town.
Salary of course is based on experience but entry level would be 43.65.
We are currently looking for a CVPA
Under the supervision of the Physician, provides patient care services by evaluating, treating, and triaging patients within the scope of individual authority granted by the Idaho State Board of Medical Examiners/Idaho State Board of Nursing and the supervising/collaborating physician. Clinical responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, medication management, interventions, patient education and discharge summaries. Reports to and receives functional guidance and direction from the delegated supervisory physician for clinical matters.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be a Physician Assistant with current Idaho license and certification by the applicable accrediting organization. Current Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance licensure. Must be certified in BLS and ACLS. Previous experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac, thoracic and vascular disorders.
