Top clinical laboratory is looking for a NYS Licensed Medical Technologist to join their staff!

As part of our team of technical staff spanning all areas of laboratory medicine, including hematology, cytology, histology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry and transfusion medicine, our medical technologists and technicians enjoy professional growth and opportunities.

Job Description

Using independent judgement, the successful candidate performs both routine and complex laboratory procedures including diagnostic testing, result reporting, quality control and quality assurance, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Requirements

A Medical Technologist (MT) must have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Medical Technology or related field and qualify as a Medical Technologist under New York state regulations. A Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) must have an Associates in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in a medical laboratory technician program or related field and qualify as a MLT under New York state regulations. MTs and MLTs must be New York state licensed or license eligible.
