LEAD CARDIOVASCULAR ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST

Full time-75 Hours, Day Shift,
High School/GED, Basic Life Support, Ultrasonographer
Minimum Experience: Previous experience in cardiovascular and/or vascular or echo testing.
Required Licensure/Certification: Nationally recognized course in vascular testing or Current RDCS, RVT, and RVS, RCS. BLS Certification.

Job summary:
Performs diagnostic Cardiovascular Ultrasound studies under the direction of the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Department. Helps to coordinate a wide variety of technical activities to ensure the efficient operation of theses diagnostic services. Provides assistance with scheduling of all cardiovascular procedures to maximize the efficiency of overall scheduling. Provides care to patients in acute acre, impatient, outpatient settings. Maintains equipment and facilities.
