Medical Laboratory Technologist Needed in MA!

*This is a full time and permanent position*

Looking for a new position at a state of the art lab in Massachusetts? A CAP accredited, full service toxicology lab, is looking to add new Medical Laboratory Technologists to their team! A brand new location of a well known and growing lab-this is a great opportunity to a Medical Technologist looking to dive into toxicology!

Job Summary: Under direction of supervisory staff, implements routine tests in the clinical laboratory to provide data for use in analysis by performing the following duties;

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Performs routine laboratory analysis such as preparing chemicals and preparing specimens for testing
  • Procure and set-up equipment, instruments and materials used in performing scheduled tests or experiments
  • Process urine, blood and other specimens. Label, accession and prepare for analysis
  • Perform storage of specimens after testing and properly discard according to SOPM
  • Maintain and operate testing instruments
  • Clean instruments; monitor inventory, restock supplies and materials as required Review laboratory records and present to Technologist for 2nd review
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Performs additional tasks and non-routine tasks as requested by the Technologists and Supervisors and management
  • Reports to Clinical Supervisor


  • Associates, but preferably Bachelors degree in Medical Technology. 
  • ASCP Certification in the state of Massachusetts
  • Laboratory Experience preferred
  • Toxicology preferred but not necessary
