Currently accepting applications for Radiology Ultrasound Technologist (Part-Time) for Critical Access Hospital
This facility is a full-service, critical access hospital and is licensed for 25 beds. The medical center clinics are housed within the facility and consist of a family practice rural health clinic and a general surgery clinic. They have a 40-bed intermediate care facility located nearby.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a safe and prudent manner for the specific purpose of producing a high quality diagnostic exam. Performs general abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts ultrasound exams, venous and carotid Doppler. Follows appropriate guidelines for exams, patient needs, and confidentiality, QC/QI and archiving.
The individual in this position reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Manager. This position works closely with the Diagnostic Imaging team and other departments in order to provide complete patient care.
Associates in Applied Science - Allied Health Science
Registry eligible - ARDMS in abdomen and/or OB/GYN
One year experience preferred in abdomen and OB/GYN ecams
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (HCP) level to be completed within three months of hire.
