Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Registered Polysomnographic Tech to join a hospital team!
Working under the direction of the physician, the RPSGT will administer various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Certified as a Polysomnographic Technician. Previous experience required.
The sleep disorder center of this hospital is staffed with sleep medicine doctors, sleep technologists, and other clinicians. Their team conducts sleep studies to evaluate sleep patterns and draw from a variety of treatment options to help the patient to achieve the best sleep possible. The hospital is a 120+ bed facility with complete inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, surgical care, and diagnostic services. They are a teaching hospital and work hard every day to be a place of healing, caring, and connection.
