Stroke Program Coordinator (SPC) needed in PA. This is a day shift position (8 am - 5:30 pm) and they are actively interviewing candidates.

With this role you will be joining a system that includes 6 hospitals, multiple emergency rooms and outpatient clinics. Additionally they offer wellness programs and public health services to make sure the community is healthy and educated. 

Joining a system this size is extremely beneficial because they have various resources that smaller organizations may not have, they are able to collaborate among the hospitals and outpatient centers and are still centrally located in a great area of PA.

The SPC will collaborate with all health care professionals to establish the standards of stroke care, and assure that all areas are current with AHA and Joint Commission requirements. This person also manages day to day review and coordination of multi-disciplinary services, provides formal and informal education for professional, technical and ancillary personnel, and serves as a liaison between the hospital and regulatory agencies. 

Candidates should have at least 5 years experience of critical care experience as well as cardiovascular experience. BSN is required, MSN preferred.
