Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join this dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Prepare and position patients for scans, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
- Proficiency in operating CT equipment and related software.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
