Cytotechnologist
Job Description
Are you passionate about making a difference in healthcare? We're seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join a dynamic team! As a key member of the laboratory, you'll play a vital role in the accurate diagnosis of diseases through the examination of cellular samples.
Responsibilities:
- Perform microscopic examination of cellular samples, including Pap smears, fluid specimens, and fine needle aspirations.
- Identify abnormal cells and provide accurate diagnoses under the supervision of a pathologist.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely and accurate results.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen analysis and results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field.
- ASCP certification or eligible for certification.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in microscopic examination.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
