Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Histology Manager to oversee the operations of our histology lab. This role will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality tissue processing, maintaining regulatory compliance, and improving lab efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, expertise in histological techniques, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage histology department operations
- Supervise and mentor histology staff
- Ensure quality control and compliance with all laboratory regulations
- Oversee tissue processing, staining, and preparation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet lab objectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Histology, Biology, or related field
- ASCP certification (HTL or HT)
- Previous management experience in a histology setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
