Responsibilities:

• Perform histological procedures to prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination.
• Utilize a variety of techniques including embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting of tissue specimens.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to quality control standards.
• Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, or a related field.
• Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnician (HT) preferred.
• Previous experience working in a histology laboratory setting is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
