Histotech (EVENINGS or NIGHTS)

An amazing 600-bed, private, not-for-profit, acute care hospital is looking for a full-time, permanent Histotech to join their team of compassionate, enthusiastic, and highly skilled medical professionals. The following shifts are available…
EVENINGS: 3pm-11:30pm
NIGHTS: 11pm - 7:30am
DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for cutting, staining, and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist to review
- Responsible for prioritizing testing procedures and completing those procedures in an accurate and timely manner
- Responsible for maintaining proper accurate records of all tests done in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from accredited histology program
- ASCP (HT) certification
