Job Description

Histology Technician

Full-time position with 40 hours per week

Monday to Friday schedule

Shifts: 6:30am - 3:00pm or 7:00am - 3:30pm

No Evening, Weekend, or Holiday shifts

Department: Laboratory Services - Histology

  • Perform automated H&E and IHC staining
  • Assist in onboarding and validating new IHC stains
  • Collaborate closely with Pathologists
  • Work in a CAP-accredited laboratory setting
  • Access to free CEU & Clinical Development opportunities

Position Overview: Responsible for preparing and mounting high-quality microscopic slides for pathologist interpretation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education: Completion of an accredited histo-tech program or equivalent required

Experience: Proficiency in customer service and communication skills essential. Prior experience in a hospital clinical laboratory preferred.

Certifications/Licensure: Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology required or certification eligible.
