This 380-bed, Trauma II hospital is looking for a full-time, permanent Lab Manager. If you’re looking to lead a team of highly-qualified professionals who are committed to providing effective and efficient lab results, this could be the place for you!
DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages the daily operations of the department and supervises staff.
- Assists in selection of personnel for hire.
- Performance management, and makes recommendations on discipline and terminations.
- Achieves ongoing compliance with regulatory agencies.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related Health Science
- Meets CLIA requirements for General Supervisor
- Registered in accordance with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT or equivalent)
- 2+ to 5 years experience
