Location: Las Vegas, NV
Type: Permanent and full-time position
Pay: Competitive, and based off experience 

POSITION OVERVIEW: The laboratory manager, under the functional direction of the laboratory director, provides day-to-day supervision of testing personnel and reporting of test results. The position encompasses the technical and administrative direction and supervision of activities of the clinical laboratory, in accordance with accepted national standards, state regulations and policies developed for the facility. 

WHAT MY CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MT (ASCP or equivalent)
  • Possession of General Supervisor License issued by Nevada Department of Health 
  • Must have at least a few in years clinical laboratory experience (combined testing and supervisory experience) in a high complexity clinical laboratory, with evidence of increasing supervisory responsibility.
  • Must have relevant testing and supervisory experience must include one-year experience EACH in any TWO of the following laboratory specialties: chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology.
