Job Description

Job Summary: Responsible for daily technical supervision of his/her section’s testing staff, testing procedures, equipment maintenance, quality control, inventory management, and patient result reporting.  S/he performs highly complex testing procedures and reports laboratory results.

Qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree or higher

  • High school graduate or equivalent and completion of an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 week duration

  • Registered MT/ MLT

  • Computer literate and proficient in Laboratory Information System (LIS)

  • Minimum 4 years Lab experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in section for which candidate would be Lead
