Job Description

A 100-bed medical center (with inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, surgical services, and diagnostic services) is looking for a Med Tech (MT) or a Medical Lab Technician (MLT). There are two openings: one EVENING shift and one NIGHT shift. This is an amazing opportunity to work at a well-established and high-performing facility that has a great impact on the surrounding community.

Job description: 

- Prepares specimens for microscope examination. 

- Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators. 

- Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision. 

- Insures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university

- At least 1 year of full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred
