Job Description
Job Title: Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Day Shift
Location: Sarasota, FL
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (No Weekends)
Pay: $24/hr – $42/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 (Paid in $500 increments every 3 months)
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team in Sarasota, FL. This position offers a Monday – Friday day shift, with no weekends required, providing a great work-life balance. Both experienced candidates and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory tests in various areas (hematology, microbiology, chemistry, etc.)
- Ensure accurate and timely results for diagnostic procedures
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Document and maintain accurate records of test results
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results
Qualifications:
- Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (or eligible)
- Current Florida Laboratory License (required)
- Experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow established protocols and procedures
