Microbiology Manager OR Micro Laboratory Manager Opening Outside of Kansas City
Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Opportunity to manage a microbiology laboratory within an established healthcare organization!
- Oversight of Supervisors and Technicians/Technologists.
- Responsible for staff hiring, orientation, competency and ongoing training. Also, providing performance feedback to staff.
- Managing day to day operations of the microbiology laboratory including ensuring laboratory compliance, develops and implementing policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent). Masters Preferred.
- MLS/MT, SM or M ASCP Certification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in a microbiology leadership position.
