Job Details:

  • Provides technical leadership for their department. Develops and administers policies and procedures in cooperation with the Laboratory Director to ensure delivery of quality laboratory services.
  • Directs and supervises personnel, evaluates work performance, initiates personnel actions, provides counsel and guidance, provides inservices and encourages professional growth of staff. Interviews and selects candidates for hire with the approval of the Laboratory Director. Establishes orientation goals and schedules for new employees. Determines staffing requirements. Establishes standards of performance for training and competency of staff.

 

Job Requirements:

  • ASCP certification (or equivalent)
  • Laboratory leadership experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science
