Job Description

Well-established, 500-bed, independent, not-for-profit healthcare system in the suburbs of Chicago seeking a permanent, full-time LIS Integration Engineer. 

 

Job Description

  • Designs architecture, leads projects, and provides an upper tier level of support for all aspects of laboratory information systems
  • Ensures users have accessibility to all required Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) resources according to established standards.
  • Implements system changes for all supported systems.  
  • Ensures the stability, security and accessibility of all assigned systems by monitoring and providing systems infrastructure support.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development or equivalent work experience required.  
  • Current Epic Beaker certification and minimum 5 years experience in healthcare laboratory information systems required.
  • Proven skill in implementation of computer software applications and project management skills related to Information Technology and clinical projects required.
  • Technical experience in laboratory services regulations and procedures preferred.
