Job Description

Full-time Neurohospitalist Physician needed in North Carolina!
(Reference Code: KAM)

Seeking a Neurohospitalist to work on a hospital based stroke neurology service. Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in neurology. Candidates with vascular neurology or experience treating stroke patients are preferred. Fellowship training is not required.

Highlights include:
* Hospital privileges at a 900-bed level 1 trauma center
* 100% inpatient
* Day time and nocturnist positions available
* 7 on 7 off schedule
* Consultative service
* 8-bed NSICU unit increasing to 16 beds this Spring/Summer
* 1200 stroke admissions annually
* Neurointensivist support
* Inpatient Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant support
* Comprehensive stroke center certification in progress
