Job Description

I have a great client actively hiring a permanent Nocturnal Hospitalist APP. Here is more information:
Schedule:
- 7 on / 7 off
- Either 4:30pm-4:30am or 6:00pm-6:00am
Setting:
- Multi-specialty, physician-owned clinic
- Cutting edge technology
- Wide array of treatments and services
Location:
- Right off of 235 (very commutable)
- West of Downtown
Responsibilities:
- Perform hospital admissions for all Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, and Hematology-Oncology patients.
- Serve as the first call for hospitalized patients in those listed specialties.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, including assessments, interventions, and coordination of care.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Iowa.
- 3-5 years of experience as an APP, preferably in hospital or emergency settings.
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent clinical decisions.
