Nuclear Medicine Technologist

A state-of-the-art, non-profit, short term acute care facility located 1 hour east of Columbus is looking for a permanent Nuclear Medicine Technologist (multiple shifts available).
DESCRIPTION
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals
- Evaluates exams for diagnostic quality
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates nuclear medicine and related medical equipment to complete a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Produces acceptable images by determining proper technical factors based on individual patients and/or procedures.
- Orders, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals according to accepted practices.
- Effectively uses computer systems (such as HIS, RIS, PACS) to process, access and distribute appropriate department and patient procedure information.
- Performs other functions as assigned.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) in nuclear medicine
- Licensed by the State of Ohio in Nuclear Medicine
- Competence in diagnostic & therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures performed at this facility
- Demonstrated computer skills and knowledge of computer software related to electronic imaging and clinical information management
- CPR Certified
