100+ Bed Hospital Hiring Weekend OR Circulator 

Position OR Circulator The OR Circulator provides patient care through utilization of the nursing process.  The nursing process is demonstrated by the staff RN’s ability to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary health care team in planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care.  May supervise RNs, LPNs, technicians, unit secretaries, nursing students, and nursing assistants.

As an OR Circulator Registered Nurse you must be detail oriented, flexible, able to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat, adept with technical skills, a team player, and must have excellent communication skills. You must also be able to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environment. There are many surgical sub-specialties for learning, including neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, trauma, pediatrics, oncology, general surgery, urology, ophthalmology, ear/nose/throat, dental, orthopedics, plastic and reconstructive, and transplant surgery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 Education

• Associates in nursing required, BSN preferred but not required

Qualifications

• 1-2 yrs OR experience ( must have at least 1 year)
• Must have OR experience.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility for on call
• Candidate should have  a positive attitude, has the ability to stay cool under pressure, work well with team members, 

 Required Licenses/Certifications

•  Current RN License or compact license in the State of Louisiana
•  Current Basic Life Support 
•  Current ACLS
