Position Details:
- Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Department: Outpatient Psychiatry
- Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday
- Compensation: $132,000 - $142,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, counseling, and education to patients and families.
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based treatments.
- Manage patient safety and coordinate care transitions.
- Engage in patient education and promote health maintenance.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Requirements:
- Education: Master’s degree in nursing; accredited nurse practitioner program.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Massachusetts RN license, Nurse Practitioner registration, DEA registration, current BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum two years in clinical nursing, preferably in behavioral health.
Skills:
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Computer proficiency and capability to meet physical job demands.
