Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Tech / Rad Tech
Location: New York
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist / Radiology Tech / Rad Tech to join our team in New York. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where you’ll perform diagnostic imaging to help physicians detect and diagnose medical conditions.
Job Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.

Position patients correctly to obtain clear, accurate images while minimizing exposure to radiation.

Operate radiologic equipment and maintain its proper functioning.

Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures, following all radiation protection protocols.

Record and maintain patient information and imaging results.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Assist with the preparation of patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
Qualifications:
-
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required.

Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

Previous experience in radiologic technology preferred, but entry-level candidates are also welcome to apply.

Strong knowledge of radiology procedures and imaging safety protocols.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
-
Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
