Job Title: Radiology Manager

Location: Republic, WA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Manager to lead and oversee the Imaging Services Department in Republic, WA. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing daily imaging operations while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will drive performance improvement initiatives, manage department budgeting, and foster an environment of excellence in patient care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily imaging operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Conduct daily rounds to assess operational effectiveness, staff utilization, and supply management.

  • Ensure optimal physical facilities, equipment maintenance, and supply availability.

  • Continuously analyze and evaluate Imaging Services to improve efficiency.

  • Implement and direct new imaging service methods and quality initiatives.

  • Develop and manage department budgets, including staffing, operational expenses, and capital equipment.

  • Collaborate with other departments to improve patient care and quality improvement (QI) initiatives.

  • Maintain a culture of safety and compliance to reduce medical errors.

  • Oversee human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Lead staff education programs and ensure ongoing professional development.

  • Maintain and enforce hospital policies and procedures related to Imaging Services.

  • Plan and participate in fire and disaster preparedness programs.

  • Ensure proper storage and security of medications, contrast media, and equipment.

  • Promote community outreach efforts and represent the hospital positively.

  • Ensure preventive maintenance and timely servicing of imaging equipment.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.

  • At least five (5) years of active experience in a diagnostic imaging department, including special procedures experience.

  • Prior leadership experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Director in an Imaging Services department preferred.

Certifications & Licensure:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.

  • Washington State certification to practice and administer radiation.

  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

  • Active membership and participation in a Radiologic Technologist professional organization preferred.

Professional Expectations:

  • Maintain regulatory compliance and complete all mandatory training.

  • Demonstrate professionalism and represent the organization positively in the community.

  • Attend staff meetings and participate in department QI activities.

  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

  • Adhere to hospital dress code and workplace conduct standards.
