Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Microbiology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform microbiological tests, isolate and identify microorganisms, and ensure accurate lab results. You will play a key role in supporting healthcare teams with vital diagnostic information.
Responsibilities:
- Perform microbial testing on patient samples
- Isolate and identify bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
- Ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards
- Document and report results accurately
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field
- Certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with microbiological testing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
