Surgical Program Director

NEW Surgical Program Director Opening in Northern Maine
- Permanent full-time position
- This position is located in rural upstate Maine near the Presque Isle, Maine area. This is an ideal location for someone who loves the outdoors; this area is known for their bird watching as well as great sled dog races, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the winter!
- My client is an outstanding 45+ bed hospital with 4 ORs and 2 procedure rooms.
- Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with work-related experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in surgery as a circulator or scrub nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a surgical leadership or management role strongly encouraged
- Current, unrestricted registered licensure in the state of employment
- BLS, ACLS required
- CNOR strongly preferred
- Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
