Ultrasound Technologist
Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort. You’ll work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Review images for accuracy and submit findings to radiologists or referring physicians.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Requirements:
- ARDMS Certification (or eligibility) required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Previous experience in ultrasound imaging preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
