Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Guilford, PA. This position offers flexibility with day, evening, or night shifts, and can be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate’s preference. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging for patients, ensuring the best care and experience possible. This role requires proficiency in ultrasound techniques, patient care, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams on patients as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure accurate image capture and proper patient positioning during procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of each procedure and its results.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide the best care to patients.
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Provide compassionate care and communicate clearly with patients throughout the process.
- Follow all safety and procedural protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound or diagnostic medical sonography program.
- Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and patient care skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
